The Story Behind EverTree Creations
THE ORIGINS
Jen Chubb is an artist, writer, and nature-lover living in the quiet woods of North Carolina. She founded EverTree Creations in 2020 after years of crafting and creating for herself and friends. What began as a joyful hobby , grew into a small, curious studio practice.
EverTree’s roots are in recycled materials: paper bags, found fabrics, ribbon, and a do-it-yourself ethic of turning throwaways into keepsakes. Jen’s early work explored a modern take on the Mexican folk art papel amate (bark paper); you’ll spot those textured pieces scattered through the site as little echoes of those earlier creative days.
WHY PINS?
Wanting a more marketable, wearable direction that still honored her slow-craft values, Jen designed EverTree’s first enamel pin: a signature quirky green leaf produced with Wizard Pins. That tiny emblem opened a door—now there are 16+ designs inspired by the small wonders found outdoors.
To make her pins stand out, Jen pairs each design with a little poem. Poetry has always been one of her creative outlets, and adding a short verse felt like a natural, joyful extension of her work—so every pin becomes more than an accessory; it’s a tiny keepsake with a voice.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Today EverTree Creations blends the hands-on recycling spirit of its beginnings with playful, wearable art. Jen continues to write about technique, inspiration, and the odd little happenings of woodland life, while designing new pieces that honor sustainability, place, and a love of slow making. More designs are always percolating—expect familiar motifs reimagined and the occasional delightful surprise straight from the woods.
